“Malas palabras” (Bad words) By Perla Szuchmacher.

Flor, a writer, begins her workday as she always does, seated at an old type-writer, when something different happens. When looking through the contents of an old box, she begins to find souvenirs of her childhood, of her friends, her school, her parents, and of how she found out that she was an adopted child.
This play is a reflection on adoption, on how children feel it and the responsibility that falls on the parents, with respect to when and how their children should be informed about this fact.
It received the FILIJ playwriting prize for “Best Play for Children 2001”.
