PLAY AND THEATRE IN THE CLASSROOM
Intended for school teachers, music, physical education and theatre teachers.
Taught by Larry Silberman, with the book "How to do theatre-without getting caught".
Themes Addressed:
Playing and analyzing games and exercises.
Exploring ways of adapting and combining them.
Creating new activities.
Adapting activities to different age groups.
Duration of Workshop: from 8 to 20 hours, in several sessions.

PLAYING TO BECOME A BETTER PROFESSIONAL
Intended for school teachers, music, physical education and theatre teachers.
Taught by Larry Silberman.
Objectives:
1) To offer a workshop for theoretical and practical training that allows for our personal and professional development
2) To get to know and understand the use of games, exercises and activities which increase our number of resources, thereby giving us a greater chance of success in our communication and relationship with the students.
Duration of Workshop: from 12 to 40 hours, in several sessions.

PLAY AND THEATRE FOR WORKING WITH GROUPS
Intended for teachers, humanities and arts professionals or advanced students and group coordinators.

Objectives:
To work on our professional and personal attitudes
To ask about "What", "How" and "What for"
of our professional and personal activities
To get a strong and pleasant feeling for going on our jobs with more energy,
humor and affection.
Duration of Workshop: from 8 to 20 hours in several sessions.

SPECIALIZED TRAINING ON THEATRE FOR YOUTH AND
CHILDREN FOR ACTING AND STAGE DIRECTING
Recommended to advanced students on acting and stage directing.

Themes Addressed:
Building appropriate criteria for the production of shows
for children and young adults.
The basics for producing children's shows.
Creating and organizing games and improvisations which enrich the creative
process.
Building criticism before children's shows through a detailed analysis
of different productions.
Duration of Workshop: from 16 to 40 hours.

HOW TO DESIGN SETS WITH LOW BUDGETS (theatrical design
for low-budget productions)
Recommended to theatre producers, directors and designers, actors, and middle or high school teachers who want to stage student plays.

Themes Addressed:
Designing sets, costumes and lighting which are expressive,
inexpensive and practical for low-budget productions.
Text analysis as a fundamental tool in a production's set, costume and
lighting design.
Duration of Workshop: 16 hours, in four 4 hours sessions.

PLAYWRIGHT ANALYSIS AND SYNTHESIS FOR ACTING
AND DESIGNING
Intended for theatre producers, directors, designers and actors.

Themes Addressed:
A play's analysis (identifying its genre, tone, rhythm, studying its action, language and ideology) and synthesis as essential tools in its staging, directing, and set, costume and lighting design.
Duration of Workshop: 24 hours, in six 4 hours sessions.

PLAY IN DESIGN FOR CHILDREN'S THEATRE
Recommended to theatre producers, directors and designers, actors, and middle or high school teachers who want to stage student plays.

Objectives:
To stimulate the playfulness of the participants.
To recognize play in children as a system of learning and communication.
Explore the possibility of play as an alternative approach to set design,
lighting, costumes, makeup, special effects, etc.
Duration of Workshop: 12 hours, in three 4 hours sessions.
