“Useless to apply without fulfilling the requirements”
is a comedy that addresses the uncertain situation of youth in the present
day, who are thrown into the difficult competition of a saturated labor
market. Three young people who are looking for work meet in the waiting
room of a potential employer. From this moment on we see the three youths
deal with an inflexible, threatening reality, and experience attitudes
oscillating from solidarity, cameraderie, competition, individualism,
discrimination, insecurity, intolerance, and the desire to be and belong
to a society the appears not to have much to offer them.
The performance puts an accent on physical gestures,
gags, supported by short texts always linked to the action. Farce, theatre
of the absurd, hilarious comedy? It may not be possible to categorize
the work in any one of these genres. We seek to take a little bit of everything
to create our own style, where humor and fun set the example.
