GRUPO 55 IS INVITED TO GIVE PRESENTATIONS WITH THE PLAY NOISY STORIES IN TIJUANA, BAJA CALIFORNIA.

Grupo 55 has an invitation by the Centro Cultural Tijuana to give 4 functions of the play Noisy Stories during the 1st and 2nd, october 2007. It's probable this tour spreads over Mexicali.

IT WAS REALIZED THE PLENARY OF THE SCHOOL THEATER NATIONAL PROGRAM 2007 - 13º CYCLE

The Plenary of the School Theater National Program 2007 - 13o. cycle was successfully realized during 15th, July to the 5th, August in the beautiful City of Pátzcuaro, in the state of Michoacán. Grupo 55 counted with the participation of artists by the states of Sinaloa, Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon and San Luis Potosi.

The advice services will be taken place in next months.

NOISY STORIES WAS PRESENTED IN THE 2007 FLINT HILLS INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL IN SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA, EUA. 28th, MAY – 3rd, JUNE, 2007.

As a result of to have been presented with a show case in APAP-NEW YORK 2005, Heather Spicuzza, director of the Festival, decided to invite the play Noisy Stories to participate in edition 2007 of that international encounter. The presentations were carried out with a big success.

Well, what a great time we had with you this week! Thank you for sharing Art From Your Heart with children and adults from Saint Paul and all over the state, country, world!

First – You have a wonderful sense of the “child” audience and what is right for the age group presented with quality and precision. Your actors are wonderful professionals – we enjoyed working with all of you. Despite differences in languages every single person in your company made me laugh when they were OFF stage as well as when they were ON stage.

Second – Thank you so very much for all of the workshops and the Digital Kids Interview. Getting to know our community is one of the things we want for artists who visit. You are such generous artists!

Third— Thanks to you both, and to the Company, for your wonderful patience and good spirits during both the load-in and the publicity appearance. Once again, we were so impressed with the professionalism that you shared with us.

Fourth – I hope that the ASSITEJ conference will result in bunches of good contacts for future work. Let me know if I can do anything, or e-mail anyone that will be of help to you.

AND FINALLY – we are just now collecting all the materials about the Festival – pictures, teacher survey results, letters, etc. We will send this to you as soon as it is complete – I don’t expect it will be for at least a couple of weeks……

It was a true joy to meet the entire Company and to host you this week. I am so glad that everything came together so that you could be a part of the Festival this year . . . thank you, thank you, thank you . . . I know our paths will cross again . . . Best, Heather

GRUPO 55 SETS UP A NEW SHOW FOR 2008

Written and directed by Larry Silberman, Grupo 55 is preparing for a new show, a free version of the Swedish play "The story of a little man", to open during the second semester of 2007.
The play tells the story of a little man who has to move to another country because of the war.
It shows the adventures and difficulties this man should endure at his new destination to eventually make it his own home.
